Australia vs India 2018: Australia Adds Seven-Year-Old Archie Schiller for the Boxing Day Test

Australia have included seven-year-old Archie Schiller for the upcoming Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground against Indian National Cricket Team.

Meanwhile, Australia came from 1-0 down to level the series at Perth beating Virat Kohli & Co by 146 runs. The series kicked off with India delivering the first blow as the visiting team won the first Test by a margin of 31 runs. It was India’s first win in Australia in the last decade and the sixth win overall.

However, the hosts came back from behind to level the series at Perth. Nathan Lyon put his best foot forward to inspire the Aussies to beat the Aussies by 146 runs.

Archie  Schiller is a cricket enthusiast who was is suffering a heart disease at a very young age. As per it, Archie has faulty valves and has undergone surgery thrice. Having fought fierce battles off the ground, Christmas has come early for Archie, who is the co-captain of the side alongside Tim Paine.

Make-A-Wish Australia foundation made this incident possible, and Paine announced it earlier today during the BUPA Family Day at Yarra Park, just a day Archie turned seven. Archie Schiller bowls leg spin, and even though he is not able to play cricket regularly and frequently, he aims to captain the Australia national cricket team.

Previously, during the UAE tour, Justin Langer had personally called the youngster and revealed him the news of his inclusion. Archie is often seen involved during Australia’s practice sessions and got the chance of doing so again on Sunday when he rubbed shoulder with some of his heroes.

The third and the penultimate Test between Australia and India will commence on Boxing Day at Melbourne.
