Australia vs India 2018; Well, we are pretty close to witnessing the most extraordinary battle in the Test cricket. The hosts Australians will lock horns against the Indians four times in the purest format of the game. Meanwhile, team India is waiting for a long time for an away-series victory Down Under while the Australians are desperate to continue their record against the Indians. However, we figured out five players who might struggle in Tests.
Here are the five players who might struggle in Tests –
5. Rohit Sharma:

The mystery behind Rohit Sharma’s massive difference in the numbers of his limited-overs format and Test could be one of the biggest puzzles in Indian cricket. In shorter formats, he bats like a master by knocking the daddy centuries more often than not. But, when it comes to Test format, his struggles make him look like a club batsman.
However, Rohit might once again make his way back home with poor performances for his side. The Australians have got pretty strong bowling lineup, and the troubles of Rohit Sharma with the swinging ball could put him in hot waters.
4. Travis Head:

The stylish southpaw of Australia is the newbie in the Test cricket, and he might find it challenging to face the Indian bowlers up front. However, he is not in a great nick and comes to bat at the crucial middle-order slot, where all the pressure lies.
The youngster has always been a consistent performer in the domestic circuit but failed to repeat the same while donning national jersey. Although, he got a fifty to his name in the series against Pakistan, scoring against the Indians, who have been exceptional in the recent past could be tough for the youngster.
3. Ravichandran Ashwin:

Yes, Ravichandran Ashwin, the Test specialist, could be on the wrong side of the things on the upcoming tour. He has enjoyed great success in England but, it might not be the same for Ashwin in Australia.
Even his records write him off from the threating player’s list for the series. With Australian soil most suitable for the fast bowlers, Ashwin couldn’t get a lot to make the things happen. Looking out the positives, he might work for team India, as far as his batting is concerned.
2. Aaron Finch:

The swashbuckling opening batsman for Australia in the limited-overs format might not repeat the same in Tests. He has got incredible skills in his kitty in white-ball cricket, but Finch might fail to use them in Test series.
Most probably, Australia would consider Aaron Finch to open the innings. Though he did well in the UAE, where pitch didn’t support the fast bowlers, he might struggle to face the swinging new ball. Especially, with Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the ranks, Finch might struggle.
1. KL Rahul:

The previous tour to Australia has been the making of KL Rahul in his international career. But, this tour could be his end in Test format. Maybe, it sounds harsh, but yes, if KL Rahul fails to repeat his magic, selectors would open the doors for youngsters, who are knocking it more often than not.
Apart from the century at the Kennington Oval, KL Rahul hardly delivered for team India. He was also a failure in the series against the Windies, where the newbie Prithvi Shaw knocked out runs with ease. Though comparing isn’t the right thing, the quality and control were quite visible during the series.
However, it is a new series, and KL Rahul would like to erase the past with his knocks in the upcoming series. However, mind you, Australia got Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood and Nathan Lyon in their ranks.
