Unfortunately, the wait to play in overseas Test has been extended for Prithvi Shaw. It was pretty sad that he picked up an injury during the practice match, which ruled him out of the Adelaide Test. However, the physio team is yet to declare, how bad the injury is. Meanwhile, the former fast bowler Zaheer Khan feels that the injury for Shaw is a big dent.

Prithvi Shaw has taken International Cricket by a storm. He smashed a brilliant century on his debut match against the Windies and then followed it up with a brilliant fifty.

Further, he added that this would be the chance for the third opener to show his worth to the team. Furthermore, he feels the injury isn’t so serious, as the management is still carrying him with the team.

”It is a big blow for Team India. He is in a good form and also succeeded in a practice game. Shaw got brilliant scores leading onto the Australian tour. He has got the natural batting style, which suits to Australian tracks as well,” Zaheer Khan quoted to ESPN Cricinfo.

”We have to wait and see how bad the injury was. It would be a straightforward replacement for Team India with third opener available in the side. Unless the injury is so serious, Shaw will be staying with the team,” he added.
