Australia vs India 2018: Rishabh Pant Slammed For Playing Rash Shot in First Game

It is a famous saying that experience cannot be bought in the market. India required 20 from the last 11 balls after Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant helped the team bounce back. 20 from 11 is very gettable in a T20I format and Pant went for a rash shot, which didn’t come off. Thus, the southpaw inexperience was on display as it would have been better had he gone for a normal cricketing shot.
However, Pant had gone the right shot but the execution wasn’t there. The field was perfect for the shot as there was a short third man in the 30-yard circle. In fact, Pant has played such shots in the past which have come good for him. It should be noted that sometimes it clicks in a format like T20I and sometimes it doesn’t.

Rishabh Pant will learn with experience.
However, there is no denying that Rishabh Pant will get better with experience. He is still a rookie player on the International circuit and needs to play according to the match situations.

Meanwhile, it should be noted that there is nothing like a natural game in any sport. A player needs to adapt himself to different situations and conditions and should play accordingly. The player should gauge the situation and play like what is best for his side. A batsman should not get away by saying, That’s my natural game and I will play like it irrespective of the match situation.

A player needs to get mature in his shot selection and it comes with experience. In fact, it is the beauty of every sport wherein an amalgamation of the exuberance of youth and sensibility of experience makes a deadly combination.
One might have all the talent in the world, however, if there is no will to fight it out in the middle, it all goes for a toss.

You are the most irresponsible player at the end. You should know the situation of the match to select such irresponsible shots for which India lost for whom you are there in the middle.

Dude, Wake up and smell the coffee; don’t regret after getting dropped from the team like last time. The opportunity to be part of Indian team is not a joke and so take it seriously if you want to shape your career better.
