One of the major headliners in the series so far is the verbal duel between Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Australian skipper Tim Paine. Various debates were carried out on the behaviour of Virat Kohli and the Australian skipper. Meanwhile, he makes his voice on the incident, where he cleared everything with the reporters.
Virat Kohli kicked up a storm when he frequently exchanged war of words with Tim Paine in the second Test at Perth. India went on to lose the match by 146 runs but the talking point was about the sledging war between the two captains.
There will be things that happen on the field – Virat Kohli
They nearly got physical in the second Test, before the umpire intervened. But the Indian captain Kohli has ensured that he will not cross the line. Virat Kohli doesn’t want to take those things outside the field.

The Indian skipper also stressed the fact that he and the opposition play the game in a passionate way. Further, he added that things like those happen on the field, as they come out in the heat of the moment.
“I don’t think so. That’s in the past. As I said, it’s Test cricket at the highest level when two tough teams are going against each other. There will be things that happen on the field. I think it’s important to leave it there and focus on the next Test match. We are definitely not looking to find something to talk about,” Kohli said on Tuesday.

“You just want to play good, competitive cricket and when both teams are passionate and desperate to win, obviously, those things happen on the field. As I said, as long as the line is not crossed, you have no issues. I said that before the last Test as well. I am sure Tim and myself both understand what happened and we definitely don’t want to do something unnecessary. We want to lead our teams well and play good cricket the public wants to see.”
Well, it would be interesting to see how both the skippers approach the game in the third Test. Most Probably, they would like to spice up the things with their sledging, especially, whenever there would be room for both the sides.
