Australia vs India 2018: Watch - Aaron Finch Didn't Edge it, Yet Given Out

India’s fast bowler Ishant Sharma would be a relieved man after Aaron Finch was dismissed after scoring 11 runs in the second innings of the first Test match. Sharma had given a reprieve to Finch when he was able to plumb the Australian opener in front of the wickets. However, the lanky fast bowler overstepped which made the third umpire reverse the decision after it was sent upstairs through the DRS.

Meanwhile, India’s premier spinner Ravichandran Ashwin got the better of Aaron Finch. In fact, the Australian opener didn’t edge or glove the ball but was given out as he didn’t have the rub of the green on his side. Surprisingly, Finch decided not to go the review as he walked back to the pavilion when Tea was taken simultaneously.

India was lucky to have Aaron Finch’s dismissal.

India has set up a target of 323 runs on the board for Australia. The hosts have chased a maximum total of 315 in Adelaide in 1902 against England. Thus, if Australia is able to go all the way, they will re-write themselves in the history books.

Meanwhile, India threw away the advantage baton after their tail decided to go all guns blazing against the Aussie bowlers. Thus, Australia has a got a whiff of a hope. The visitors could have batted out the hosts out of the contest. However, the tourists lost their last five wickets for only 25 runs.

Ravichandran Ashwin is going to hold the key for the Indian team in the second innings. Meanwhile, Cheteshwar Pujara continued his sublime form as he scored another fine knock of 71 runs.

Furthermore, Ajinkya Rahane returned back to form in style as the Indian deputy scored 70 runs. On the other hand, Nathan Lyon was the pick of the Australian bowlers as he scalped six wickets.
