Australia’s best bowler in the first two sessions Pat Cummins got the better off debutant Mayank Agarwal. Cummins bowled a short delivery down the leg-side to kiss Agarwal’s glove to Australia’s skipper Tim Paine. The Australian paceman has been the pick of the host’s bowlers as he has bowled with fire. In fact, Cummins has bagged both the wickets in the ongoing Indian innings.
Meanwhile, Mayank Agarwal batted beautifully for his knock of 76 runs. Agarwal had an ideal start to his Test career as he struck the ball with confidence. The Karnataka batsman showed the right technique as his bat and pad came together towards the ball.

In fact, Agarwal took on the attack against the series best bowler – Nathan Lyon who has thus far taken 16 wickets. The right-hander shimmied down the track to get to the pitch of the ball. Agarwal also lofted Lyon for a six towards the cow corner region.
The right-hander drove with aplomb and also got his runs while working the ball in the gaps. On the other hand, Cheteshwar Pujara has once again shown the hunger to bat long. The Indian number three batsman has been rock solid in his defence and has taken 110 balls for his 37 runs.

Meanwhile, India’s skipper Virat Kohli called the right side of the coin and he is batting on four runs. Kohli will like to get a big score under his belt as the conditions are well suited to his style of play. There is nothing much in the pitch and the bowlers will need to toil hard for their wickets.
