After an unconvincing display in the first ODI, Team India would be desperate to bounce back when they lock horns against Australia in the second ODI at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) today. The match is an do-or-die one for the visitors as they need to win it at any cost to keep the three-match series alive.

Playing their first match since March, India were far from their best as they remained on the backfoot for most part of the match. Barring Mohammed Shami, Shikhar Dhawan and Hardik Pandya, no other player could make much of a mark in the game.

As far as the game is concerned, India lost it by 66 runs. Batting first, Australia piled up a mammoth total of 374 for 6 thanks to centuries from Aaron Finch and Steve Smith. In reply, India could only score 308 for 8 and rarely looked in the game while chasing.
