Pakistan won the second T20I beating Australia by 11 runs where D Arcy Short was sent back to the sheds after a third umpire review deemed his bat to be in the air. However, earlier in the day, Pakistan skipper, Sarfraz Ahmed won the won and elected to bat first. Meanwhile, Australia captain Aaron Finch didn’t like the review, at all.

D’Arcy Short’s run-out left Finch irked

The opening duo of Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman started their innings well adding 29 runs for the first wicket. Later, Azam alongside veteran batsman, Mohammad Hafeez played some brilliant cricket and added 70 runs for the second wicket.

Moreover, Australian pacer, Nathan Coulter-Nile was the pick of the bowlers who grabbed three wickets for his team. Only with the help of two batsmen, Pakistan posted a total of 147 runs with the loss of six wickets at the end of the innings

While chasing, Australia opening batsman, D Arcy, Short lost his wicket on the last ball of the third over. Bowling to Aaron Finch, Imad Wasim touched the ball which later hit the wickets and saw Short getting run-out.

However, D’Arcy doesn’t think so. Even the replays show the left-handed batsman had touched the bat on the ground yet got declared out. This particular howler from the third umpire irked the Australia team.

Finch, the skipper, was left fuming, as he thinks it is a ridiculous decision. Meanwhile, the other camera angle showed the bat might have been on the ground.

In addition to that, none other than Glenn Maxwell couldn’t put up a good show. He scored a fantastic knock of 52 runs off 37 balls with the help of four boundaries and two sixes. Meanwhile, Australia couldn’t manage to win the match, as there was some fantastic bowling effort from Pakistan.
