Babar Azam scores a 26 ball 100 in a Charity Match in Pakistan

Run making touched new heights in a charity match in Pakistan organised by the Shahid Afridi foundation in Faisalabad which was played as ten overs per side. Big players like Shoaib Malik, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman and Shahid Afridi played in the match. Batting first SAF Red Posted 201/1 in 10 overs courtesy Shoaib Malik who scored a 20 ball 84 but was retired hurt while Fakhar Zaman also scored 76 off 23 deliveries.
However, the star of the match was Babar Azam who hit a 26 ball 100 to seal the deal for SAF Green. Babar has been a prolific run scorer for the Pakistani team in the recent times and has been their middle order mainstay.
Azam has been a perfect resolution to Pakistan’s top order batting miseries and has helped Pakistan in the recent run chases, and this time it was SAF Green team who made full use of Azam’s talent.
Azam hit 11 sixes and seven boundaries on route to his match-winning innings which had just two dot deliveries. Azam maintained a strike rate of 384.62 while scoring the century. Green led by Shahid Afridi hit a boundary through the off side to complete the run chase of a match which was played for a great cause.
