Shakib Al Hasan Etches His Name In History Books

Shakib reached this historic milestone in the 20th over of Bangladesh’s innings against Ireland, by taking a single off Curtis Campher. This achievement is a testament to his unwavering dedication and commitment to the sport, as well as his exceptional skills and talent.

Shakib had recently reached the milestone of 300 wickets in ODIs during Bangladesh’s match against England. He achieved this landmark by taking a four-wicket haul in the third ODI held at Chattogram. With this feat, Shakib became only the third left-arm spinner in the history of ODI cricket to reach the milestone, joining the likes of Jayasuriya and Daniel Vettori.

Furthermore, Shakib’s talent and skills are not just restricted to the international level. In T20 cricket, he has established himself as one of the best all-rounders in the world, with 443 wickets to his name. This makes him the fifth-highest wicket-taker in the history of the format.

Moreover, Shakib Al Hasan is part of an elite group of cricketers who have achieved the milestone of 6000 runs, 400 wickets, and 50 catches in T20s. This rare achievement has only been accomplished by two players in the world, with Dwayne Bravo being the other one to achieve this remarkable feat.
