The eighth edition of the Big Bash League (BBL) 2019 begins on December 19th, and here are the details of the updated squad of each of the franchise. Meanwhile, the competition is extended to a full home and away seasons for the first time, as each franchise will play each other twice at both home venue and away venue. However, this concept usually gets used in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Furthermore, BBL 2018/19 season will consist of 56 regular season matches, two semi-final fixtures and a final. Meanwhile, Adelaide Strikers are the defending champions while Perth Scorchers had won the title for a maximum of three times.

By this time, most of the lists are settled, and the franchises are preparing themselves to win every possible match. Out of the eight teams in the tournament, five have won the title at least once. As we enter the trade period, these are the BBL rosters, as they currently stand.
