Former Indian National Cricket team skipper MS Dhoni has made a comeback to the One-Day International (ODI) squad for the upcoming series against Australia and New Zealand.

Meanwhile, the selector’s left out Dhoni for the series against Windies and T20I series against Australia owing to poor form. However, Chief Indian Selector MSK Prasad had already confirmed Dhoni as the first-choice wicketkeeper for the World Cup. MS Dhoni’s contribution to the Virat Kohli-led side is unparallel to any other and he certainly made it to the side.

Moreover, Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik, who took over the reign in the absence of Dhoni also retained their places. Along with them, KL Rahul, who is struggling to find his touch back has got one last chance to prove his worth.

Otherwise, it is a compact batting order with Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma opening the batting followed by skipper Virat Kohli. Ambati Rayudu, Kedar Jadhav will slot in the middle-order along Hardik Pandya playing as the lone all-rounder.
