It was reported yesterday that Indian captain Virat Kohli’s request was accepted by the Committee of Administrators. However, the Supreme Court appointed body has confirmed that they need some more time to take their final decision.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli had requested BCCI to let wives of the cricketers to be allowed for the whole overseas tour.

We need some more time – CoA
Earlier, the wives of the players were only allowed a time of two weeks on the overseas tour. However, as the foreign tours are generally long, Virat Kohli came up with a request.
“No decision. More opinion will be taken. May take some more time. All news floating around is false: Committee of Administrators (CoA) member Diana Edulji, on Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli request to BCCI to allow wives of players to extend their stay during overseas tours,” a tweet by ANI news mentioned.

Meanwhile, India was on the long tour of Ireland and England which lasted for almost two months. Furthermore, they are all set to Jett off for the tour of Australia. India will play three-match T20I series against the Australian side. The shortest format of the game will be followed by four Test matches and three One Day Internationals.
Therefore, another long foreign tour is on the cards for the Indian team. On the other hand, India will play five-match ODI series against Windies. The ODI series will be followed by three-match T20I series.
