Of late, we have come across greatest efforts in the game of cricket, which would keep you on edge of the seat thinking ”how he pulled it off?”. The latest cricketer to make it happen in the international cricketer is the iconic Brendon McCullum. He pulled off one of the finest fielding efforts in the game of cricket.

The incident took place in the 36th match of Big Bash League 2018-19 when Sydney Sixers locked horns with Brisbane Heat. It was in the 17th over of the game when Mujeeb Ur Rahman was delivering his final over.

James Vince, who was in a brilliant form smoked it right of the screws to knock a six in the fairly long Sydney Grounds. However, just when everyone thought that the ball is flying over the rope, then came Brendon McCullum, who made an exceptional effort to pull it off.

In fact, it was an unbelievable effort, as bending the body in that direction and timing the jump was superlative to witness.

 As it happened:

Coming to the match, it was Brisbane Heat, who won the toss and chose to bowl first. It looked like a decent call with three wickets falling in a quick time. However, the brilliant James Vince completely changed the scenario of the match.

He knocked it out superbly to put Heat players chasing the leather more often than not. He was equally supported well by Jordon Silk, who smashed a quickfire 41 to push total to 177 on the board. James Vince scored 75.

In reply, Brisbane Heat never looked like chasing the tally, as they lost wickets on a regular basis. Sean Abbott and Tom Curran shared 6 wickets in between them to dismantle the Heat lineup quite easily.
