The three-time runners-up Melbourne Stars are one of the most consistent sides in the BBL history as they only once finished below top four in the past nine BBL seasons. The Stars are surely desperate to end their trophy drought in this season. While they will begin the BBL 10 journey with two back-to-back matches on Friday (11th December) and Saturday (12th December), they will try their best just like the other teams to start in a positive manner.

The in-form Glenn Maxwell will continue to lead this side. Apart from him, the other big names in this squad are Marcus Stoinis, Adam Zampa, Nathan Coulter-Nile etc. Andre Fletcher, Billy Stanlake and Liam Hatcher are the new addition in this team history.

In the meantime, Dilbar Hussain has joined as an international replacement player for Afghanistan cricketer Zahir Khan, who is completing his quarantine period.
