Over the years, the Indian National Cricket Team has often been considered as the best batting side. But, of late, especially, in the last couple of years, India is ruling the world cricket with their bowling department as well. Meanwhile, the former Australian cricketer Jason Gillespie heaps words of praise on Indian bowlers.
India has rested Jasprit Bumrah for the ongoing Australian series and still got the required quality in the side. Gillespie believes that adding Bumrah to the current squad, obviously, makes them a tough side.
England will enter favourites – Jason Gillespie
Further, Jason quoted that England is the obvious team to take ”Favourites” tag in the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019. But, he believes that the bowling department of India makes them stay close to England in the grand event.

He went on to shower words of praise on Jasprit Bumrah, who has been pretty exceptional. Gillespie feels that Bumrah gets into the right action despite having the unusual kind of bowling run-up.
”I think the Indian attack is well balanced. Bumrah has been rested for obvious reason but their attack is still quite good,” Gillespie told PTI in an interview. Everyone offers different things, and you add Bumrah to it, so they are well placed to mount a challenge for the World Cup. I think England are the obvious favourites, but India won’t be far behind,” he insisted.

“I enjoy watching Bumrah bowl. He just ambles in but when he gets to the crease, he almost has a slingshot action. Bumrah bowls at good pace, hurries the batsmen up, and he can also change his pace a lot. He is a very fine bowler,” the 43-year-old former pacer said.
Well, as Jason Gillespie said, India has got the required quality in their dressing room to press the case for ICC World Cup 2019. Meanwhile, England has already shown that they are going to be strong contenders with their performance in the last couple of years.
Currently, India is in Australia, who played series across the formats. Their tour will be ending on Friday when they lock horns in the final and the deciding ODI of the series.
