BPL: Shahid Afridi Asks Comilla Victorians Fans to Visit Stadiums

After concluding his trade with Dhaka Dynamites in Bangladesh Premier League, Shahid Afridi joined Comilla Victorians to feature in the upcoming edition of BPL. Meanwhile, he makes his time out to ask the fans visit stadiums and support their team to come good during the tournament.

Shahid Afridi, who was placed in the A+ category was drafted by Comilla Victorians right in their first call. They also grabbed the services of Sri Lanka’s all-rounder Thisara Perera, who got an incredible record in BPL.

Meanwhile, the former skipper of Pakistan urged fans to support the team during the tournament by visiting the stadiums. Further, he added the team lineup is pretty strong on paper to make things happen for Victorians.

During the course, Shahid Afridi also revealed the tournament is set to start from January 5th. And also, he shared his excitement and happiness for joining the Comilla Victorians.

“I am very much happy and excited to be able to be associated with Comilla Victorians. This BPL is going to start from January 5. Please, come to the ground and enjoy our game. This time our team is very strong,” Afridi said.

Apart from Afridi, Comilla retained Imrul Kayes, Mohammad Saifuddin and Pakistan all-rounder, Shoaib Malik. Further, they signed Sri Lanka’s Asela Gunaratne and England’s Liam Dawson as well. Evin Lewis is another notable pick for Comilla Victorians.

Meanwhile, this time, the entertainment quotient is going to be better, as the franchises roped in some exceptional talents. The discarded cricketer David Warner also joined Sylhet Sixers to make his debut in BPL. Furthermore, AB de Villiers will play for Rangpur Riders.
