Brett Lee, the former Australian fast bowler, has called for his national sides’ bowling group to come up with ‘clear concise plans’ against Indian captain Virat Kohli if they want to dominate the legendary batsman in the upcoming Test series against India.
Virat Kohli has been a constant nemesis for Australians in all formats of the game and across all conditions ever since he made his debut in 2008. In fact, Kohli made his maiden Test hundred in Australia back in 2012 and since then he has added 5 more to his tally, including four in a single series back in 2014-15.

Virat Kohli has played 12 Tests in Australia in which he has racked up 1274 runs at an average of 55.39 but Lee believes that if the home side can put the Indian skipper early in the series then they can possibly come out on top this time around.
“He is obviously a world-class player and Australia will have to make sure they’ve got clear concise plans to bowl to him. I think if they can put him under pressure early in the series that will allow maybe Australia to go on top of him,” Brett Lee told IANS.

India will tour Australia for a four-match Test series later this year. While India will be looking to do an encore of what they did during the 2018-19 tour where they became the first Asian side to beat Australia on their home turf.
Australia were without the services of David Warner and Steve Smith in that series. With the duo back in the set-up and the Aussies having unearthed another prodigious talent in the form of Marnus Labuschagne, the home side will be too strong this time around, reckoned Brett Lee.
“To me, it’s one of the best series that you can look forward to. Australian will definitely want revenge but I know that India will come out and play their style of cricket which could definitely put Australia on the ropes. I personally think Australia will be too strong on home soil,” Brett Lee told IANS.
India will kickstart the Test series at the Gabba in Brisbane from December 05 before playing the Pink Ball Test at the Adelaide Oval and the traditional Boxing Day and New Year Tests in Melbourne and Sydney.
