On Thursday, the Indian National Team skipper Virat Kohli walked for the 50th time as the captain of the team. By doing so, he became the second Indian cricketer to lead a Test team in 50 Test matches. Meanwhile, the young Yuzvendra Chahal congratulates the skipper in a hilarious way.

In August, Virat Kohli became the most successful Test captain in the history of Indian cricket during the tour of the West Indies. Before the Pune Test, Virat Kohli led India in 49 Tests and won 29, lost 10 and drew 10. In 60 Tests as captain, MS Dhoni won 27 Tests and lost 18 while 15 ended in draws.

Kohli’s win-loss ratio of 2.9 is also the best for any Indian captain and third overall behind Australia’s Steve Waugh and Ricky Ponting. Only Steve Waugh (36) and Ricky Ponting (34) had more wins than Kohli’s 29 after the first 50 Tests.

I feel I am lucky enough – Virat Kohli

On the eve of the significant feat, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had released a short video where Kohli was seen acknowledging the recognition from the Indian board and his teammates on his record. Meanwhile, Yuzvendra Chahal, who is yet to play a single Test for India makes fun of the achievement by Virat Kohli.

Having featured for Team India in 50 ODIs and 31 T20Is, Chahal is yet to receive a call-up in the Test line-up. However, Chahal’s comment on Virat Kohli earned him praises from the fans, as they loved his sarcasm.
