Mumbai witnessed the savagely violent attack in 2008 for four days starting from November 26. Ten terrorists from Pakistan had attacked India’s commercial capital at five significant locations simultaneously – Oberoi-Trident Hotel and Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel, a Jewish cultural centre – Chabad House at Nariman Point, Leopold Cafe, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus railway station and Cama Hospital.
The terrorists arrived in Mumbai from Karachi a state in Pakistan, by a fishing trawler. Nine of them were killed during the course of the attack while Mohammed Ajmal Kasab was arrested and subsequently executed in November 2012.

One of the many heroes of 26/11 and of the greatest son of our soil- Shaheed Tukaram Omble. What he did is beyond words- the courage, the presence of mind and the selflessness demonstrated at that time- no words, no awards can do justice.
