Despite the initial jolt, Sourav Ganguly and Virender Sehwag toyed with Bermuda bowlers to find the fence often than not.

After the Sehwag’s show, it was southpaw Yuvraj Singh, who wrecked havoc by smacking 83 runs off just 46 balls. Earlier, Sehwag registered 114 off 87 deliveries.

In reply to the target, Bermuda batsmen made a queue to the pavilion while trying to go after an Indian attack.

Apart from Hemp’s 76*, none of the Bermuda batsmen stayed at the crease thus giving India a remarkable victory by a margin of 257 runs.

Despite the record-breaking victory, the 2007 ICC 50-over World Cup will always remain as the blackspot in India’s cricket history.
