Yuzvendra Chahal Gets Trolled By Dale Steyn For Batting In The Nets At Sydney

Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and Dale Steyn shared a funny banter over Instagram recently. The Royal Challengers Bangalore cricketers engaged in the same, owing to Yuzvendra Chahal batting in the nets. The Haryana-born leg-spinner was training in Sydney ahead of the three-match ODI series against Australia, commencing on the 27th of November. Dale Steyn was the one to begin the banter by trolling the leggie.

Yuzvendra Chahal took to his official Instagram account by sharing a video of him batting in the nets and posted a caption as “Adding up scores this time”. As the 29-year old put the caption, fans asked him hilariously if he was going to open the batting for India in the forthcoming leg. South African speedster Dale Steyn commented by questioning whether he is facing “Facing Fast off-spin?” Chahal responded by stating “@dalesteyn secret sir,”

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dale Steyn’s contrasting performances in IPL 2020:

Chahal, who will partake in the three ODIs and as many T20Is, enjoyed a fruitful campaign in IPL 2020 for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. He collected 21 wickets in 15 matches at 19.29 and maintained an economy rate of 7.08. Chahal would be keen to spearhead the spin-bowling attack against Australia to get their confidence up and running ahead of the gruelling Test series.

On the other hand, Dale Steyn endured the opposite and had a forgettable outing in IPL 2020. The veteran featured in three matches and took only one wicket at an awful average of 133 and an economy rate of 11.40.
