David Miller was in the thick of things during the 2015 World Cup. He was scoring runs to the fore in the quadrennial as South Africa enjoyed a good run in the group stage where they were coupled up with the likes of heavyweights India, Pakistan, West Indies, Ireland, Zimbabwe and UAE.

South Africa qualified for the knock-out with four wins from six matches in the group stage only behind India. In the quarter-finals South Africa continued to maintain their momentum and thrashed Sri Lanka by nine wickets. But the Proteas known for their misery to get knocked-out towards the fag end of the World Cup repeated history in 2015.
