Will David Warner Participate In IPL 2020? His Manager Reveals

David Warner, the Australian opener, has been an asset for the SunRisers Hyderabad franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The franchise would not want to lose out on a player like him.

Warner, at his best, can help SRH win the entire league on his own. He can also inspire the youngsters in the side with his stature.

With so much at store, it would be hard to miss out on someone like Warner. Even though there is no certainty about the IPL 2020 to commence after it was deferred from its original date.

Ahead of the IPL 2020, David Warner’s visa was rejected, according to media reports. Later, reports came out that foreign players are not available for IPL 2020 till April 15 due to fresh visa restrictions.

However, Warner’s representative James Erskine cleared the air on his participation in an interview to The Age. He said, the premier Australia batsman is planning to participate in the IPL, but there it does not assures that he will not change his mind later.

“If the IPL is on David Warner’s planning on going. If things change dramatically, which can happen in the space of an hour, the answer is you change your mind. It’s no different to everybody else,” Erskine told Theage.

David Warner, has time and again, proved that he can do the damage on the opposition on top of the order. His cameo knocks has set the tempo for his side.

Warner has the experience of playing 126 IPL matches. He has scored 4706 runs at an average of 43.17. He has also hit four centuries and 44 half-centuries in the lucrative tournament.

Moreover, his commendable strike rate of over 142, has seen him taking the bowlers to the cleaners very often in the IPL.
