Meanwhile, the Aussies have been performing brilliantly in the ongoing Ashes so far and have moved inches closer towards reclaiming the Ashes after getting off to a 2-0 lead in the five-match series. It was a great all-round performance by the home team to come back strongly in the 1st innings of the opening after not getting a substantial lead.
The bowlers have done their job with Mitchell Starc and Nathan Lyon bagging the most wickets in the series. They were given a scare in the 2nd Test when England bowled them out for a paltry 138 in the 2nd innings. However, the hosts had already secured a huge lead of more than 200 runs. Meanwhile, English skipper Joe Root has commented pretty recently that despite going down 0-2 in the series, the visitors still have a chance of winning the Ashes.
