Cricketers around the globe are trying out different activities as they stay indoors to combat the coronavirus pandemic. As things stand, all the major tournaments – international and domestic – have been called off. Earlier this month, all the major cricket nations in the world called off their international and domestic fixtures.

The BCCI suspended the IPL till April 15 in addition to calling off the ODI series against South Africa. The way things are unfolding at the moment, it would not be at all surprising if the IPL 2020 is cancelled altogether. PM Narendra Modi, on Tuesday, announced that India would be under complete lockdown for the next 21 days.

Pakistan Cricket Board had to do the same with the Pakistan Super League just before the knockout stage of the competition. The likes of Australia, New Zealand, West Indies, South Africa, Bangladesh also did the same with their fixtures. A report now suggests the Test Championship final which was due to be hosted next year could also be rescheduled or cancelled.

Amid all these, the cricketers have not much to do. A number of cricketers are posting videos of themselves online to show their fans what they are up to. And on Tuesday, India opener Shikhar Dhawan posted arguably the hilarious video of the ongoing quarantine period.

In the video, he could be seen washing clothes while his wife Ayesha was busy doing her makeup. To make things even more hilarious, Mrs Dhawan was also seen giving directions to her husband.

David Warner responds:

Shikhar Dhawan’s video drew reactions from all around as fans were left in splits. And his former Sunrisers Hyderabad teammate David Warner also decided to react to the video. David Warner, who is himself a husband, was clearly amused by the video as he wrote:

“I hear you @SDhawan25”
