The Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi will host the 28th match of the Indian Premier League 2023 between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
In their previous encounter, KKR suffered a defeat against Mumbai Indians by five wickets despite Venkatesh Iyer’s impressive century. This loss has left the Kolkata team in seventh position in the points table, and they will be looking to make a comeback.

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals have had a poor start to their season, losing all five of their matches and languishing at the bottom of the points table.
In their last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore, they failed to chase down a target of 174, losing by 23 runs. The Capitals will need to turn their fortunes around quickly if they want to remain in contention for the playoffs.
This should be an exciting encounter between the two sides as both of them are in desperate need of a win, Delhi more so than Kolkata as any more loss from his stage will hurt their chances in the tournament.

DC vs KKR: Impact Players Nominated By DC and KKR
DC skipper David Warner won the toss and elected to have a go with the ball first citing the weather as one of the main reasons behind the decision
“We will have a bowl first. The weather being around, you don’t know what the total is going to be. We haven’t been disciplined with the ball. We have two changes.”
KKR skipper Nitish Rana on the other hand seemed confident while talking about his team combination and feels his team are the favorites in the fixture.
“We are playing after 3 years thanks to Covid. Every thing feels new. We have four changes. Tough to remember. If we play as a unit. It should be tough to beat us.”
