DC vs KKR: Watch - DC Captain Rishabh Pant Argues With On-Field Umpires After Waist High No-Ball

Delhi Capitals (DC) captain Rishabh Pant was once again seen arguing with the on-field umpires after they called a waist-high full toss a no-ball in the ongoing IPL 2022 match against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium on April 28, 2022.

DC had won their first match against KKR and in this return encounter, started off well by winning the toss. DC captain Rishabh Pant won the toss and chose to bowl first. that DC had made two changes as Mitchell Marsh was back in the XI after recovering from COVID-19 and also Chetan Sakariya made his DC debut in place of injured Khaleel Ahmed.

KKR, on the other hand, made three changes as Aaron Finch was back, Baba Indrajith and Harshit Rana made their debuts for the two-time IPL champions.

Chetan Sakariya started well on his DC debut, removing Aaron Finch for 3 and then Axar Patel dismissed Venkatesh Iyer for 6 runs. Kuldeep Yadav then sprang into action and picked the important wickets of Shreyas Iyer (42), Babar Indrajith, Sunil Narine, and Andre Russell (0) to reduce KKR to 83/6 in 14 overs.

Things got back on track for KKR when Rinku Singh and Nitish Rana got together. Rana particularly took the attack to DC bowlers and in the 17th over, hit a high full-toss for a six-off Lalit Yadav’s delivery.

However, the on-field umpires called it a no-ball and we got to see scenes reminiscent of DC’s last game against Rajasthan Royals, as DC captain Rishabh Pant got into a verbal conversation with the umpires for calling that high full toss a no-ball, which incidentally Rana managed to hit for a six on the off-side.
