Dwayne Bravo Hails MS Dhoni As The Biggest Superstar In Cricket

Dwayne Bravo has heaped high praise on former Indian captain the leader of his Indian Premier League franchise Chennai Super Kings [CSK] MS Dhoni, hailing him as the biggest superstar in cricket.

Bravo recently engaged with former Zimbabwe cricketer-turned commentator Pommie Mbwangwa in an Instagram live session.

The West Indian all-rounder said that MS Dhoni is one of the easiest people to interact with.

“MS Dhoni is the biggest superstar in cricket and in our team. He was one of the easiest people to interact with, outside of the cricket field, he is like playing video games, his door is open at all times. Whenever you talk about the biggest superstar and then you think a person like Dhoni is the most humble of them all.” Dwayne Bravo said.

‘A lot of credit for CSK’s success has to be given to Dhoni and Fleming’- Dwayne Bravo

Bravo has been a part of the Chennai Super Kings outfit since 2011. The West Indian legend has played a crucial role in CSK’s consistent run over the years.

When asked about the major reason behind the success of Chennai Super Kings, the veteran all-rounder reckoned that the credit goes to the duo of Stephen Fleming and MS Dhoni, who has created an environment where players have thrived without additional pressure.

“CSK is a special team and we have the most faithful fans. I think a lot of credit for CSK’s success has to be given to Dhoni and Fleming. Obviously the owners (as well), they trust both Fleming and Dhoni. So there is no outside interference when it comes to decision making. Both are very big students of the game, players love MS and it’s an environment and franchise that allows you to be you.” Dwayne Bravo added.

Dwayne Bravo, who joined the Yellow Army in 2011, has played 104 matches in which he has claimed 121 scalps. He has also won the Purple Cap on two occasions in 2013 and 2015 respectively. This is not the first time that Bravo has heaped praise on MS Dhoni. In the past too, the West Indian all-rounder has hailed MS Dhoni as the best captain in the world.
