ENG vs IND 2018: Siddarth Kaul Flattered by Sachin Tendulkar's Praise

Young Team India seamer, Siddarth Kaul is ecstatic to hear the word of phrase from the legendary India cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar, after his heroics in the third and the final T20I against England in Bristol.

Meanwhile, India defeated England by seven wickets to clinch the series 2-1 at Bristol. With the series tied at 1-1 at the start of the game, everything was at stake. However, the visitors made a commendable comeback to chase down a mammoth total.

Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul went after the bowlers after losing the early wicket of Shikhar Dhawan. Sharma, especially, was class apart hitting the balls all over the park. Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya also played their part with significant contributions with the bat.

However, it was Rohit’s unbeaten century that saw the visitors home with eight balls to spare.

Previously, the hosts posted 198 runs on the board banking on a blistering start. Jason Roy went all guns blazing hitting the balls over the short boundary at ease. Jos Buttler was not too behind smashing seven fours in his knock of 34.

Meanwhile, an amazing comeback by the Indian bowlers ensured the target doesn’t go out of hand. While Pandya returned with four wickets, Kaul impressed the most.

He was accurate and was brilliant in his line and length. Moreover, his wicket against England came in the name of Jos Buttler.

He came back at the end to remove Liam Plunkett to return with two for 35 in his four overs in a high-scoring encounter. So much so, Tendulkar seemed very impressed with him and praised the bowler on social media.

The former cricketer lauded his variations for those two key wickets and praised him for a commendable job.

Kaul flattered by Sachin

Meanwhile, this words of wisdom flattered by the young seamer, who is continuing his good form from the IPL.

In return, Kaul admitted this is the biggest compliment for him and will always keep it close to his heart. He also noted Tendulkar as his inspiration and revealed he will give his 100 percent whenever he steps on the field.

“What more can one ask for? This is the biggest compliment of my life and I will always keep it close to my heart. Thank you, @sachin_rt sir. Will always give my best whenever I will step on the field. I have learnt this from you,” the post read.
