After a closely-fought series opener, England and Australia will face-off in the second T20I at the Rose Bowl in Southampton on Sunday. England, asked to bat, posted 162 runs on board with David Malan (66) and Jos Buttler (44) scoring most of the runs for their side. Australia started their chase well with David Warner scoring a half-century and Aaron Finch hitting 48 runs but lost their way in the runs chase. The visitors, thus, lost the match by two runs.

Australia will look to avenge their first match defeat with a strong performance in the second match. England, however, will look to better their run scoring and consolidate their lead in the three-match T20I series. Both the team might opt for an unchanged eleven to maintain their respective momentum.

Rain has been a major concern in England. It has spoiled a lot of matches in the recent past. On Sunday, the weather will remain mostly cloudy till 5pm. Following that hour intermittent clouds will appear. But in the later hours it will be partly cloudy with light drizzle in the forecast according to AccuWeather.

Expect the contest between England and Australia to be a full match as rainfall might not hinder their progress during the hours of play.
