England vs India 2018: Fans Insists to Bring Back Rohit Sharma after Edgbaston Loss

Team India cricket fans have insisted on bringing back swashbuckling batsman, Rohit Sharma back into the Test side following India???s 31 run loss against England at Edgbaston.

Meanwhile, the batting order apart from Virat Kohli collapsed, as India struggled to put any resistance against the England bowlers. Kohli was the one warrior who backed his first innings 149 with a fighting knock of 51 runs. However, the India captain lacked the much-needed support from the other end.

Indian batting undid all the hard works put in by the bowlers. Team India bowlers are on a roll picking 20 wickets at Edgbaston. While Ravichandran Ashwin bagged seven wickets, Ishant Sharma bagged a five-for in the second innings.

The visitors, India, will have to fight their way back to level terms in the series. They will have to regroup themselves and put in a better performance as a batting unit.

Moreover, they are likely to bring back Cheteshwar Pujara in the first XI following his surprise omission from the first Test.

Cheteshwar Pujara went through a poor patch of runs in the County season but is an essential component of the Test team. Moreover, in a bid to come back, the fans have insisted on bringing Rohit Sharma in the Test side.

While Rohit is a regular in the limited-overs side, his Test career didn???t flourish as much as he wanted. So far, the blistering opener has played 25 Test matches scoring a healthy average of almost 40. Rohit Sharma has three hundred and nine fifties to his name with the highest score of 177.

Meanwhile, his last Test match was against South Africa earlier this year at Centurion. Although he failed in the first essay, he came back to play a crucial 47-run knock in those challenging conditions.

The Rohit Sharma fans are hell-bent on social media sites to include him on the Test side. They have also provided exciting statistics to compare his form with the likes of Murali Vijay and Ajinkya Rahane.
