For someone or the other, Virat Kohli has always been the debatable topic in the game of cricket. Ahead of the England series, everyone doubted his skills in playing the English conditions. Now, they are debating whether Virat scores a century in the next game or not.  However, that has been the charisma carried by the Indian skipper.

the right-handed batsman answered all the critic masters with his stupendous knock at Edgbaston and then carried his scintillating form in the ongoing Trentbridge Test. Meanwhile, fans can’t stop themselves from hailing India’s run-machine.

Virat Kohli registers 23rd Test ton in Nottingham

After faring cheaply in the Lords’ Test, the classy India skipper showed his beast mode in the first innings at Trentbridge. Alongside Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli thrashed Englishmen all over the park.

He kept Joe Root-led side chasing the leather for the most of the time with his delightful strokes. During his stunning innings, Virat also stroked away all the criticism and doubts on his batting in the English conditions.

Just when Virat Kohli looked like bagging his second hundred in England, he was unfortunately dismissed on 97 runs when he edged Adil Rashid to Ben Stokes’ safe hands in the slip cordon.

However, Virat Kohli turned his head high by scoring a stupendous ton in the second innings of the game. He let England’s shoulders go down entirely on day three of the game.

Just after completing his 23rd Test hundred and second in the series, the India captain was trapped in front by Chris Woakes. In total, he amassed 200 runs in the Test to lead the batting charts in the series so far.

The India skipper, Virat Kohli is currently leading the batting chart with 440 runs to his name. The second-best on the list is Jonny Bairstow with as many as a 234-run difference. The English wicketkeeper scored 206 runs to his name.
