Barring Kohli, no one could be consistent – Mohammed Kaif
When one of the Kaif’s followers asked him to express his opinion on India’s tour of the United Kingdom (UK) 2018, the batsman reiterated that the visitors played more than their potential in the series. He felt that the bowlers did the exceptional job for the team by removing English specialist batsmen.
However, Kaif added that they failed to rattle the defence of the tail-enders which made the massive difference.
The acrobatic fielder in his heydays, Kaif also claimed that none of the Indian batsmen apart from Virat Kohli was consistent enough to trouble Englishmen.
All in all, Mohammad Kaif feels that it would have been better results if the team looked after those essential things. Eventually, he thoroughly enjoyed the England vs India 2018 Test series.
Digging into his reply, it read: ”Played Far from potential. Bowlers were good in getting the top 6-7 out but consistently failed in getting the lower order out. Batsmen, barring Kohli, no one could be consistent.”
