Finally, the England women tour of India is confirmed. The respective Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the schedule for the 3-match ODI series and the 3-match T20I series in coming February. They will be playing all their ODI games in Mumbai while T20I games will be played in Guwahati.

”The Board of Control for Cricket in India and England & Wales Cricket Board have announced the schedule for the upcoming Paytm home series of the Indian women’s team against England,” Amitabh Choudary quoted in a press release.

Initially, they will clash in the ODI format of the game. And then, they switch to a shorter format to entertain the fans. The first ODI of the series will be played on February 22nd at Wankhede Stadium while the second and third ODI games will also play at the same venue on February 25th and 28th respectively.

Coming to the T20I format of the game, they will be played at Baraspara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati. The first T20I is scheduled on March 4th while second and Third T20I will be played on March 7th and 9th respectively.

Currently, the Indian Women Cricket Team are in New Zealand, where they are set to lock horns against the home side. This is their first tour under the new head coach WV Raman, who replaced Ramesh Powar in the recent selections.

Timings:

All the ODI games will be a part of ICC Women’s Championship. The ODIs in Mumbai will start at 9:00 am IST and the three T20Is in Guwahati will have the start time of 10:00 am IST.

  • 2nd ODI – February 25th – Wankhede, Mumbai
  • 3rd ODI – February 28th – Wankhede, Mumbai

T20I:

  • 2nd T20I – March 7th – Baraspara, Guwahati
  • 3rd T20I – March 9th – Baraspara, Guwahati
