The talented southpaw had led India Under-19 side to the final of the World Cup in 2016. However, the team could not cross the last hurdle against West Indies Under-19 team. The left-hander has shown the promise to deliver the goods at a big stage. However, there is no doubt the Jharkhand batsman needs to work on his temperament as he can play rash shots which might suit the match situations.

Kishan has scored 2538 runs in the first-class format at an average of 39.04. The left-hander has scored 1780 runs in the 50 ODI matches at an average of 37.87. Kishan has scored 605 in the 37 matches at an average of 21.05 in the IPL.

Thus, the right-handed batsman can be given his chances for the national side as the wicketkeeper-batsman. The right-hander has an impressive record as he has scored 3798 runs in the 65 first-class matches at an average of 38.75. In fact, Bharat has the highest score of 308 and thus he has the skills to bat long. The right-hander has also scored 1281 runs in the 46 List A matches.

Rishabh Pant is expected to get maximum chances once MS Dhoni announces his retirement. Pant has grabbed his chances in the Test matches as he scored a century each on the tour of England and Australia. However, Pant needs to show more maturity in his game as he can lack the temperament at the crucial stages of the match.

Pant has the skills to hit the ground running and he is expected to get better with experience. The southpaw batsman has already grabbed eyeballs in the Indian Premier League. Pant has thus far played nine Test matches and as many ODIs. He has scored 696 runs in the red-ball format and 209 runs in the 50-overs version. The southpaw batsman has scored 1736 runs in the 54 IPL matches.

4. Sanju Samson

Sanju Samson has to be the most talented Indian wicketkeeper-batsman. However, it has always been a surprise that he hasn’t got opportunities to play for India yet. Samson is a classic timer of the ball and he is a technically correct batsman. The Kerala batsman has impressed with his batting technique and he has played some mouth-watering knocks in the Indian Premier League for the Rajasthan Royals. The flamboyant batsman has scored 2945 runs in the 53 First-class matches at an average of 36.81. The stylish batter has scored 1779 runs in 78 List A matches. Consequently, Samson will like to get more consistent in the domestic circuit to break into the India National Cricket Team.
