Perhaps, the last couple of years have seen a lot of stalwart players calling curtains on their game; each player has got their charisma. Much to the same, Gambhir leaving the game is also an end of the era, as the fans always showered love on the Delhi lad.

Thanks for the most important stakeholders – Gautam Gambhir
Gautam Gambhir, in his recent post, quoted the fans have always been the greatest stakeholders of the Delhi Cricket. He wants to thank each and everyone for their special effort all over the years. Also, Gambhir visited the fans alongside his daughter.
Digging into his tweet, it read ”Me and my new ‘captain’ (His Daughter) thanking the most important stakeholders at Ferozeshah Kotla. Thanks for all your wishes and support.”

Meanwhile, Gautam marked the final game of his career with a century to his name. He smashed a brilliant 112 to his name and hadn’t come to bat in the second innings of the game. As far as the game is concerned, Delhi got three points while Andhra bagged one.
Initially, it was expected that Gautam Gambhir would ply his trade one more year. However, surprisingly, he called curtains despite scoring pretty well in the domestic format of the game. However, as he wished, Gautam Gambhir finished his career by playing for Delhi in the Ranji and also in Indian Premier League. It comes to know that he is eyeing a coaching role to be close to his favourite game.
