GT Vs SRH: Watch - Umran Malik’s Searing 153 Kph Yorker Castles Wriddhiman Saha’s Stumps

Umran Malik was the toast of the day for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) team in their IPL 2022 match against Gujarat Titans (GT) as he removed the dangerous and well set Wriddhiman Saha with a searing 153 kph yorker as the two teams clashed at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on April 27, 2022.

Hardik Pandya, captain of GT won the toss and chose to bowl first, making Sunrisers Hyderabad batting first for the first time after seven matches. SRH welcomed Washington Sundar back into the side in place of J Suchith, while Gujarat Titans went in unchanged from their previous match.

SRH had reached a decent total by the time the final over arrived, thanks mainly to Abhishek Sharma, who made 65 in 42 balls with 3 sixes and 6 fours, and Aiden Markram with 56 in 40 balls. Kane Williamson had fallen for 5 and Rahul Tripathi made 16 good-looking runs.

GT enjoyed a good opening partnership as Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha added 69 runs for the first wicket before Kane Williamson unleashed Umran Malik at the Gujarat Titans batters. Gill made 22 and the next man in, captain Hardik Pandya managed just 10 before Umran bounced him out as well.

Wriddhiman Saha meanwhile completed a brilliant half-century and was looking good to steer GT towards the target. However, in the 14th over, Umran Malik bowled a 153 kph yorker to which Wriddhiman Saha was just too late to bring the bat down on and his stumps were clattered before the willow even came down.
