Men in Yellow were trolled for picking veterans of the game soon after the IPL auctions, but they proved everyone wrong by splendid all-round performance during the season eleven of the Twenty20 league.

On the lighter note, Harbhajan said that wherever Singh goes, the team wins.

“As I told you earlier wherever Singh goes the team wins. Last time, I was in Mumbai where we became champions and now this time with Chennai,” Harbhajan told IndiaTV.

The Turbanator went on to add an experience of CSK proved to be better than the youth of the other teams.

Consequently, the experienced players were able to deliver the goods for the Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led side.

“I am very happy the way CSK performed as earlier we were criticised for being a team of above 30+ players. People were questioning our fitness but in the end, we proved that a 35+ player can be more dangerous than a young 18-year-old cricketer as he has more experience. The quality experience in the Chennai squad was the reason of our success and every cricketer played his role superbly.”

Harbhajan added that MS Dhoni was lucky as he won the toss in the imperative matches. Bhajji went on to add that he has a great understanding while playing with the Super Kings skipper.

Both Harbhajan Singh and Dhoni have played together for the Men in Blue.

“Dhoni is extremely lucky as tosses are very important for the match and he won the main tosses. The common thing about us is that we both are July born and we played a lot of cricket together. It’s wonderful to play alongside him and this IPL was special for all the fans who were waiting for CSK to make a comeback in the competition,” Harbhajan concluded.

Players like Shane Watson, Ambati Rayudu, Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Dhoni came up with great performances.

Thus, it was a collective team effort for the CSK brigade to lift the IPL trophy for the third time even after returning following a prolonged gap of two years.
