Harbhajan Singh, former Indian off-spinner, was a part of many historical feats achieved by the Men in Blue during his storied career.
The off-spinner recently appeared on former opener-turned commentator Aakash Chopra where he was asked to rate the three high points of his career.
Harbhajan was a part of the Indian team that won a historic Test series against Australia in 2001, the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007, and of-course the 50-over World Cup on home soil in 2011.
“As a player, I will rate 2001 series against Australia at the top spot as it made me the player I am today, if I look at my childhood dream, I always wanted to win the World Cup and it came true in 2011 so I will keep it at par with the 2001 series,” Harbhajan Singh said on the official YouTube channel of Aakash Chopra.
The 2001 Test series against Australia proved to be a turning point in not only Indian cricket history but it also launched the ‘turbanator’ to superstardom.
Harbhajan singlehandedly tormented the Aussies with the ball, claiming 32 wickets in a mere three Test matches which also included a hat-trick and a match-winning cameo with the bat in Kolkata and Chennai respectively.

Harbhajan was also a part of the team that scripted history by winning the inaugural T20 World Cup in South Africa in 2007.
Reminiscing about the victory, Harbhajan said it was unbelievable to see the amount of support that the team received after landing in the country.

“Winning the T20 World Cup in 2007 was unbelievable when we landed back in India, we got a huge amount of support, I have never seen anything like that before, I would not be able to rate these three moments as all are very special to me,” Harbhajan Singh added.
Harbhajan was also a part of the team that became the first side to win a 50-over World Cup on home soil after they defeated Sri Lanka in the finals in Mumbai.
Chasing 275 to win, the Men in Blue looked in all sorts of trouble when Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag was dismissed cheaply. But a gritty 97 from Gautam Gambhir and a calm and collected 91 not-out by Mahendra Singh Dhoni meant that the target was knocked off with absolute disdain in the end.
