Harbhajan Singh Wants Suryakumar Yadav To Don The Indian Jersey

It is never a good story to write about when the only conundrum which India is facing is the No.4 slot. Indian selectors have by far experimented different players but they haven’t found much success. Earlier, off-spinner Harbhajan Singh had backed domestic cricketer Suryakumar Yadav to take that position.

Now, after Suryakumar Yadav’s blistering heroics for India C in the ongoing Deodhar Trophy, the respect and demand for him increased to a considerable extent. Harbhajan Singh has once again vouched for Suryakumar Yadav that he is a perfect addition to the Indian national cricket team as he would add a new dimension to the team’s batting attack.

Suryakumar Yadav did put on a stunning show with the bat. He stayed sublime and then went on a pulverisation of his own. He was batting on 18 facing 16 deliveries and with just 2.5 overs left, he unleased his true potential.

Suryakumar Yadav unleased his power-hitting trait:

The aggressive batsman essayed 54 runs in his last 13 balls. He finished with 72 off 29 balls, bludgeoning 9 fours and 4 sixes, helping his team get 366 runs on the board. India C got the better of India by 232 runs. The fact that he was able to induce nervous minutes into the opposition’s mind goes to show that he has all the credentials to don the Indian colours.

Harbhajan Singh took to his official Twitter handle to shower his praise on the talented batsman, describing his knock as ‘special’. He wishes to see him bat in the same manner for Team India soon. He went on to add that showcasing performances like these would surely help him get a chance to play for India in the near future.
