Mumbai Indians’ all-rounder Hardik Pandya showed his best version in IPL 2020 so far as he launched an onslaught against Rajasthan Royals’ young pacers in Abu Dhabi. Hardik Pandya hammered seven sixes in his knock of 21-ball 60 to provide the perfect finish for the defending champions as they got to 195 in 20 overs. It is already proving to be an uphill task for the opposition.

The Baroda all-rounder came to the crease at the loss of Kieron Pollard, who was dismissed by Shreyas Gopal cheaply by destroying his stumps. It is imperative to note that Rahul Tewatia dropped a relatively straightforward catch off Kartik Taygi’s bowling and there was not turning back. In the 17th over, Ankit Rajpoot delivered four full tosses that the 26-year old put it over the fence. It was Jofra Archer’s 18th over that provided some relief to the Royals.

Nevertheless, it was short-lived. Pandya came to bite the Rajasthan Royals again in the 20th over. Kartik Tyagi missed his lengths continuously as Pandya punished him by hitting three sixes and one four to eke out 27 more runs. From 168, Mumbai Indians stormed to 195 in 20 overs as the final five overs yielded 79 runs.
