Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has revealed his favorite cricketer. The megastar was part of the Star Sport pre-match show for the ongoing first ODI between India and the West Indies at the MA Chidambaran stadium in Chennai. The big actor revealed that former skipper MS Dhoni is his favorite cricketer. Dhoni is currently not part of the Indian team as he took an indefinite break from the game after India’s World Cup exit.

Dhoni was last seen in the Indian colors when he played in the semifinal contest against New Zealand in the ICC World Cup. The wicket-keeper batsman decided to take a break from the game and served in the Indian army. Meanwhile, Dhoni is expected to play in the Indian Premier League and lead Chennai Super Kings.

Dhoni has taken an indefinite break from the national side.

In fact, Dhoni himself stated that he doesn’t want to reveal anything till January and he has kept his fans on the edge of their seat.

Salman Khan said he personally knows India’s middle-order batsman Kedar Jadhav. The right-hander added the finishing touches to the Indian innings as he scored 40 runs from 35 balls in the first match. Jadhav is a big fan of Salman Khan and tries to emulate the veteran actor every now and then.

“I personally know Kedar Jadhav…Also, my favorite cricketer is MS Dhoni. He is a Dabangg player,” Salman said on Star Sports’ pre-show Nerolac Cricket Live.

On the other hand, Salman was accompanied by his co-star Kiccha Sudeep, who is playing the role of the villain in Dabangg three.

“My favourite player is the one who plays well on that day. But what we see as fans is the respect each player has towards each other,” Sudeep said.

“We can visibly see the players stand and cheer for the achievements of their teammates – with such a positive attitude, we can freely have our favourites. My all time favourite has to be Anil Kumble sir, and I also like Rohit Sharma,” Sudeep added.

Dabangg will hit the cinema halls on the 20th of December and it is expected to be a Blockbuster. Meanwhile, India posted a par score of 287 runs after Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer scored 71 and 70 runs respectively. India had clinched the T20I series 2-1 and would like to continue their domination in the ODI format.
