Helps Afridi But Mocks Dhoni: Furious Fans Slam Harbhajan Singh For 'Dig' At MS Dhoni

Harbhajan Singh has offended a number of Chennai Super Kings fans with his latest activity on social media. The veteran spinner, who had pulled out of the ongoing IPL 2020 even before the tournament started, has made a huge number of fans angry with his ‘funny’ reaction to the ‘wide controversy’ that took place during the game between CSK and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
CSK skipper MS Dhoni is facing criticism from several quarters for his behaviour during the incident. The incident took place in the 19th over of SRH’s chase when the match was finely poised. After collecting 19 runs from the 18th over, SRH had scored three from the first ball of the 19th over when they needed 27 runs from the last two overs.
The first ball of the over was hit for a two by Rashid Khan before Shardul Thakur bowled a wide. The following delivery looked like a wide too but umpire Paul Reiffel did not call it. At first, it looked like he would call it a wide as he had his hands half out. However, he changed his mind at the last moment after seeing an angry MS Dhoni protesting and decided against calling it a wide.
In the wake of the controversy, Dhoni is facing the heat with many slamming him for the “bullying” of Reiffel into changing his decision. Harbhajan Singh, however, saw the funny side of the incident as he reacted to it on Twitter. Sharing a video of Reiffel changing his mind after seeing Dhoni’s reaction, Harbhajan Singh captioned it with a series of laughing emojis.

Harbhajan Singh might have seen the funny side of the incident but his tweet has not gone down well with a number of CSK fans. Soon after the spinner posted the tweet, a number of fans slammed him with some even calling him a traitor for his apparent ‘dig’ at Dhoni.
