It has been a brilliant season for Ravindra Jadeja both with the bat and the ball. The flamboyant all-rounder didn’t get enough chances in the playing XI but whenever they are on offer, he latched on to it and, delivered the best show to the fans and the team. All those good efforts helped him to collect Arjuna Award by the Indian Government.
However, unfortunately, he is once again in the national duty while the award ceremony, thus, the Saurashtra cricket had to give it a miss. Despite that, Ravindra Jadeja conveyed his thoughts on taking the prestigious award via his official Twitter panel.

Speaking of the award. the stylish southpaw quoted that he is honoured to receive the award and added that it would help him to work hard ever more and bring the best out of him. Further, he promised that he would give his best for the team and the country in future as well.
“First of all, I would like to thank the Government of India for conferring me with the Arjuna Award. I would also like to congratulate all the winners of the Award. They’ve performed brilliantly in their fields,” said Jadeja in a video message posted on the official BCCI Twitter handle.
“I will always try to put my best foot forward whenever I play for India. I will always try to win matches for the team and make the country proud,” he added.

Recently, Ravindra Jadeja slammed a crucial fifty and took two wickets in India’s 318 runs win against the Caribbean side. Currently, he is at number four spot in the ICC ranking for the Test all-rounders.
