“I want to play T20 cricket. At this age, I can manage to play some kind of fun cricket. I want to go and enjoy my life. It’s been too stressful just thinking about my international career, performing and big tournaments like the IPL,” the 37-year-old had said during his retirement press conference.
I Will Do My Best To Support Cricket In Canada - Yuvraj Singh

Recently retired talisman batsman Yuvraj Singh stated that he would his best to support cricket in Canada. Yuvraj Singh was roped in by Toronto Nationals in the recent draft of the Global Canada T20 league. Consequently, Yuvraj Singh is looking forward to playing with the local Canadian players.
The second edition of the tournament is all set to begin from July 25. In fact, Yuvraj Singh had said in his retirement press conference that he wants to enjoy his cricket and play without any pressure. Thus, he would be seen playing in different T20 leagues across the globe.

It would be great exposure for the young players to play with and against Yuvraj Singh.
Meanwhile, there were doubts raised over the participation of Yuvraj Singh in different leagues. However, the champion batsman went on to seek permission from the BCCI.
“I am really looking forward to visiting Canada and play in season 2 of the Global T20 tournament. I was impressed with the action last year and I am looking forward to playing with the local Canadians and the international stars. I will do my very best to support cricket in Canada. So, Toronto here I come,” Yuvraj said.

It is never easy for an International player to continuously play for a long time of 19 years. There are always a lot of expectations and Yuvraj Singh was able to do justice to all the roles in the game.
