Former West Indian speedster Ian Bishop has named his fantasy IPL 2020 eleven as the edition gears up for the second half of the tournament. Delhi Capitals lead the points table with six victories and 12 points under their belt. Ian Bishop has appointed Kieron Pollard, who is one of IPL’s all-time greats and a swashbuckling batsman, as the captain of his side.

Ian Bishop picked Faf Du Plessis and KL Rahul as the openers of his team. KL Rahul and Faf Du Plessis hold the first and third position in the run-scoring charts with 387 and 307 runs respectively. The reputed commentator placed Suryakumar Yadav at number three instead of Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli. Mumbai Indians’ Suryakumar Yadav has batted outstandingly in the tournament, having scored 233 runs so far.

Delhi Capitals’ captain Shreyas Iyer is placed at number four, who took his tally of runs to 298 on Wednesday against Rajasthan Royals. Despite having a lean season, Bishop went with Hardik Pandya at number six, preceding Kieron Pollard. SunRisers Hyderabad leggie Rashid Khan found a spot in the eleven and so did RCB wrist-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal.

The Trinidadian chose three fast bowlers in the eleven. With 18 wickets so far in IPL 2020 and holding the purple cap, Kagiso Rabada makes it to the eleven followed by Indian speedsters Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami. The likes of Jofra Archer and Anrich Nortje have also impressed; however, Rabada has arguably been the best.
