Kolkata Knight Riders will have another crack at Mumbai Indians when the two sides face off at the 32nd match of IPL 2020 in Abu Dhabi. Mumbai Indians briefly sat at the top of the table before Delhi Capitals snatched it last night by beating Rajasthan Royals. On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders remain within sight of clinching a playoffs spot; however, are yet to hit their top gear.

Mumbai Indians will most likely not trigger any changes to their side, having most one of the balanced teams in IPL 2020. Rohit Sharma and Quinton De Kock have accumulated runs in the top order. Suryakumar Yadav, who is the bedrock of their middle-order, has displayed consistency along with innovative stroke-making followed by Kieron Pollard, Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya as seasoned finishers. Their bowling attack is also one of the best with all three seamers being wicket-takers and could curb the flow of runs.

On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders remain unsure of their best batting order and might have made a blunder by moving Rahul Tripathi down the order last game. Sunil Narine being forced out due to a suspect bowling action has disrupted the balance of their side robbed them of a match-winner with the ball. All-rounder Andre Russell needs to come to the party with the bat while there is a case for the inclusion of Shivam Mavi for Kamlesh Nagarkoti since the latter has leaked runs at an alarming rate.

The hosts, Mumbai Indians, are arguably the favourites and the settled side amongst the two. The Kolkata Knight Riders do have plenty of bowling options to choose from; however, they would be up against a dangerous batting unit at the peak of their powers. Hence, Mumbai Indians will most likely beat the Knight Riders for the second time in IPL 2020.
