The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released fresh ICC T20 rankings after the South Africa-England series. Talking from India’s perspectives, the rankings have not brought about a great change in India’s position. This seems to be quite shocking as India recently became the first team to clean sweep a T20 series 5-0.

The Men in Blue beat the Kiwis in all the five games to make a big statement. The third and fourth T20I went in Super Overs and India emerged on top in both the games.

However, the Black Caps got their redemption as they clean swept India by 3-0 in the ODIs. It was a historic defeat for the Men in Blue as they were whitewashed after 31 years in a three-match or more ODI series.
